Pilates Studio M- Acrobatic exhibition

I’m very excited about this upcoming artwalk in the Claremont Village! The artwalk starts at 6 and goes until 9 in the evening on the first friday, THIS FRIDAY, June 1st.

Pilates Studio M is going to be putting on an acrobatic show at 7:30
Heirloom is showcasing a new gallery and will have cheese from The Cheese Cave
Loft204 will be featuring artist Alan Swartz’ drawings and mixed media

I was getting a slice of pizza at Z-Pizza and walked by this store and did a double take. On the wall were porcelain plates, but instead of the expected kittens, or fireplace scene I saw Spock, Zombies, R2D2 and PeeWee and Mr. T.

I had to stop and look around! Everything was created and re-used from another source. Clocks made from Vinyl records, a Ipod player that lived in an old Rotary style phone. “What sorcery is this?” I wondered… Well, it was The Green Gypsy, a new store that just opened 2 weeks ago and has a unique take on gifts, stationary and furniture!

The city of Claremont is known for being rather bike and bicyclist friendly, so I thought I’d share a bike-eye’s view of Claremont, starting out the tour on Bonita Ave. and Towne Ave on the border of Claremont and it’s nextdoor neighbor community of Pomona.

When you don’t have any, you’ll start to experience withdrawals.

It’s very expensive, and people spend exorbitant amounts of money on it.

You can smoke it.

…Just kidding.

As a yarn junkie, I am very familiar with these signs of addiction.
